50k in one day or 100k in 2 days ?
Henley on Thames to Staines via the Thames Path
Run or walk 50k to Staines via the Thames Path on Saturday and return via train to Henley OR stay overnight at Staines and run back to Henley on Sunday.... This is not a race and an ideal entry into ultra running !
As many of you will be aware, in April 2008 I ran the 184 miles of the Thames Path. If this was not enough of a challenge, my father had major surgery in the middle of this event for a tumor. I therefore have organized this event where all profit will go to stomach cancer charities.
Entry is £25.00 for one day or £40.00 for 2 days. ALL profits will go to CANCER RESEARCH UK. Cost does not include travel or over night acommodation. You need to be 'self sufficient' with relevant supplies, clothing for inclement weather and overnight stop.
